The Snowboard a 14'er course was designed to get you into the high alpine of the Colorado Rocky Mountains to climb and snowboard down from 14,000ft. This 2 day course will focus on getting you to the top. The first day we will spend touring locally to prepare ourselves for the 14er objective that we will set for day two.  The peak and route selected on both days will be catered to the group

• Split board, boots, poles, and skins

• Beacon, Shovel, Probe (rentals available upon request)

• Ice axe and crampons 

• Synthetic or wool long underwear bottom and top (base layer)

• Mid layer top and bottom (insulation layer)

• Insulated “Puffy” Jacket

• Waterproof Jacket and pants

• Wool or synthetic socks + 2 extras

• Warm gloves or mittens

• Hat and neck gaiter or balaclava

• Goggles and sunglasses

• Day backpack (25-40 Liter)
