AIARE LEVEL 1
Partnering with Colorado Adventure Guides, CSG will be running AIARE Level 1 Courses for all backcountry users no matter what mode of transportation. The AIARE Level 1 is a 3-Day course that combines both classroom and field instruction to introduce participants to the hazards of traveling in avalanche terrain. Offering standard courses as well as HUT-BASED!

Advanced Splitboarding
This is a 2 day overnight course that is developed to help further the skills necessary to travel safely in the backcountry. Throughout the span of the course we will be covering various topics of which include but not limited too; advanced trip planning techniques, advanced route selection and terrain assessment, rescue techniques and scenarios, and emergency shelter construction.

Located in the Summit County area we offer backcountry snowboard trips for all abilities and skill levels. AIARE LEVEL 2
Partnering with Colorado Adventure Guides and following the NEW AIARE curriculum for 2018, the REC AIARE 2 is a three-day/24-hour course that provides backcountry travelers an opportunity to advance their decision making skills in more complicated situations such as being a leader within a small travel group, traveling in more complicated terrain, and/or developing a travel plan where online resources are scarce.

Snowboard Mountaineering
This is a 3 day course designed for you to learn the techniques and skills necessary to travel through technical terrain in the backcountry on your snowboard with topics covered including but not limited to; rope management, ice axe and crampon use, advanced tour planning and route finding, winter camping, ect.
